Camp Pendleton P-038 EFV Facility

Camp Pendleton P-038 EFV is an 88,000 sf military use facility. The structure houses a consolidated Headquarter, Training, and Maintenance complex for the new Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV). This site accommodates four main types of activities consisting of administration, academic instruction, applied instruction, and tactical vehicle maintenance. Space layout includes heating and air conditioning in the simulator rooms, practical application laboratories, armory areas, staging and check-out spaces, spare parts storage areas, and various maintenance space rooms. Miscellaneous facilities include a covered vehicle training and parking area. Design coordination was completed in conjunction with the Architect, Conwell, Shonkwiler & Associates, on this project.

  • 75 hp centrifugal pumps for the vehicle rinse station
  • Central compressed air system with rotary screw 
    compressor and refrigerated air dryer
  • Variable air volume air handlers located on the 
    roof and interior mechanical room
