EXPERIENCE
Paul is one of two Principals at McParlane & Associates, Inc. Consulting Mechanical Engineers, and he is one of four partners in McParlane Building Optimization Inc. (MBO Inc.)  Paul leads the Project Management Team; and over the previous 20 years he has developed The McParlane Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures -Handbook.  Paul’s focus -in working with architects, developers, general and mechanical contractors projects- ensures his team delivers on time and on budget.  In 1996 Paul began his internal employee development program that teaches mechanical engineering from the drawing board to design to engineering.  His philosophy is to bring his experience to his employees and now to the ACE mentoring program; wherein, he is helping young adults gain insight into the aspects of the mechanical engineering profession.

1990 - PRESENT:  Principal; McParlane & Associates, Inc., San Diego, CA.Business Development Manager, Head of Project Management Department, quality assurance of HVAC and plumbing systems, and administrative duties.

2002 - PRESENT:  Principal; McParlane Building Optimization (MBO Inc.), San Diego, CA Principal of McParlane Building Optimization; Specializes in full-facility commissioning, retrocommissioning, laboratory/surgical suite commissioning, and HVAC field troubleshooting.

1983 - 1990:  Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, & Plumbing Department Head, Sevier Engineering, Inc., San Diego, CA. Generation of proposals, overseeing design teams, motivating people, meeting the clients’ expectations and maintaining schedules, scope, and budgets
