EXPERIENCE
Mr. McGee is a mechanical systems designer with 20+ years of consulting engineering experience in construction management, facility planning, mechanical design, and engineering. Mr. McGee has developed a working knowledge of applicable codes, design practices and construction standards for mechanical systems. Mr. McGee’s focus is to deliver innovative solutions and “Hands On” operational attention to all of McParlane & Associates and MBO Inc. projects. As the Chief of Intellectual Capital, Mr. McGee is constantly harnessing mechanical, electrical, and control best practices to deliver optimally performing projects.
1990 – PRESENT: Principal; McParlane & Associates, Inc., San Diego, CA. Head of HVAC Department, Project Manager, design of HVAC systems, marketing, and technical hardware administrator.
2002 – PRESENT: Principal; McParlane Building Optimization (MBO Inc.), San Diego, CA Chief of Intellectual Capital focusing on full-facility commissioning, retro-commissioning, laboratory/surgical suite commissioning, and HVAC field troubleshooting.
1984 - 1990: Mechanical Systems Designer and Project Manager-Sevier Engineering Inc., Consulting Mechanical Engineers. Design of HVAC systems including hydronic systems for commercial buildings. Project managed for prime military design projects.
1982 - 1984: Ducommon &Associates, Consulting Mechanical Engineers. Design of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
1979 - 1982: Van Buren & Associates Electrical & Mechanical Engineering. Junior Designer: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems design, and drafting.
